Prosperity Group enabled the lighting solution for the West Kowloon Terminus, Hong Kong
Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (XRL) is a high-speed railway connecting the mainland and Hong Kong. West Kowloon Terminus is the only station in the Hong Kong section of XRL, featuring 15 platforms in total and an area amounts to 430,000 sqm.
Prosperity Group provided the lighting solution for the entire terminus, completed massive lighting simulation and supplied all the luminaries. More than 70 customised light poles integrated with fire service sprinklers and speakers were installed in the concourse, providing passengers with a cosy and soft ambience with soft illumination.
The relaxing outdoor public spaces are illuminated by special leaning light poles. Lush greeneries and the spacious neighbouring area of Green Plaza and Sky Corridor are gently highlighted, visualising the lighting concept of a harmonious urban-nature relationship.
